wikiAudience See the World Scholarship

Exact Data, the company that brought you wikiAudience, holds its annual meetings in different locations each year. Past meetings have been held in Reykjavik (Iceland), Thabazimbi (South Africa), Shanghai (China), Dublin (Ireland), and Istanbul (Turkey). The company philosophy is that having new experiences expands your mind and interrupts the way you thought yesterday. The hope is that our employees come home from these trips “thinking bigger” — applying new solutions to existing problems.

The wikiAudience See the World Scholarship is a yearly, recurring, non-need-based award of $1,000 given to 1 student each year who wishes to travel outside the US — locations including Europe, Africa, Asia, or South America. The award will be sent via check. Preference will be given to students who will be active in work study or volunteer programs. Backpackers will be considered as well.

Scholarship Amount

All applicants must be enrolled in an accredited two or four-year college or university within the United States. There are no citizenship requirements, but this award is not intended for students returning home for the summer. Students from all backgrounds and majors are encouraged to apply.

Application Requirements

To be considered for this award you must submit the scholarship application here along with proof of enrollment via email to scholarship@wikiaudience.com.

The scholarship deadline is April 1, 2018. wikiAudience will choose the recipient and notify them before April 15, 2018.
